No wind for the opening day for the Melges 20 World League in Scarlino

The Melges 20 fleet from all around the world gathered this weekend in Scarlino. Sadly, the first day of the regattas was without any wind. Races were supposed to start at 13.30, but around noon the AP flag appeared ashore. After some time the races were canceled for good.

Even though sailors tried not to be disappointed, today everyone is hoping for the good start! The first warning signal is planned at 11.00 local time.

For now, the leader of the fleet is Vladimir Prosikhin's Nika. Sixteen points behind is the runner-up Cars 167 of Rodney Jones and third place has Alexander Novoselov's Victor
